Class Description:
This class is designed to reveal actual doctor patient interaction during an initial diagnostic consultation.
Focus is on the critical thinking process including questions asked during the history and the selection of tests used during the examination as well as to observe and develop better psychomotor skills regarding examination performance.
Join Joseph S Ferezy, DC for this grand rounds classroom offered entirely on line. Review the patient’s records, then watch a complete (usually 20-45 minute) videotaped encounter between Dr. Ferezy (or occasionally another neurologist), and a patient with a neurological complaint. These patients were referred to Dr. Ferezy by a member of his neurology diplomate program, and the referring DC is also present for the examination as the camera person. The rest of the class was in a separate room nearby, watching on a projected screen. The class includes multiple patient encounters and will include real time commentary from Dr. Ferezy, and time will be allowed for you to freely interact with the instructor. Upon successful completion of the class you will receive a Continuing Education (CE) certificate.
The class is 2 (CE) hours in length (2 Records) and is certified by the International Board of Chiropractic Specialties as valid for Neurology Diplomate Program and Continuing Education Credit Type II. The class is designed to meet Distance Education CE requirements for State Chiropractic License renewal in CO, IA & NE.
