An optional CPR certification course ($50) is offered as an additional convenience for those who require a CPR refresher following the program.

The Colorado Board of Chiropractic requires Chiropractors to complete “a minimum educational requirement of 15 hours of continuing education (CE) annually… from November 1st through October 31st of each year”, without any provision for “carrying over” CE hours between calendar years. However, the CE is to be attested to every two years, creating a “license renewal period” requiring a total of 30 CE Hours. During each “license renewal period”, only up to 10 CE Hours may be via “Distance Learning Programs”, with the balance obtained through live classroom instruction. Additionally, 4 CE Hours must be in the area of “recordkeeping and documentation”. Finally, “Each actively licensed Colorado chiropractor is required to maintain “Health Provider Level Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation” (CPR)” Certification.
